Mechanical Design Engineer - Powertrain (m/f/d)

What to expect:

  • Developing innovative concepts for next-generation powertrain systems
  • Designing components and assemblies for electric and hybrid powertrains with a strong focus on manufacturability and production readiness
  • Performing complex packaging and installation space analyses to ensure the optimal integration of powertrain systems
  • Creating, documenting, and presenting engineering results, including technical drawings, CAD models and structures, and detailed design documentation

 

What you bring along:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field 
  • Proficiency in the use of at least one of the common CAD tools (CATIA V5, Creo, or Siemens NX) as well as the Microsoft Office suite
  • Initial experience in the development of powertrain components and in project management
  • Ideally, specialized knowledge in electric motors, high-voltage battery systems, internal combustion engines, or related auxiliary systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively drive decisions and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident professional presence
  • Business fluent English skills
