What to expect:
- Ownership of diagnostic functions throughout the development lifecycle
- Definition, coordination, and maintenance of diagnostic functional requirements
- Coordination of diagnostic topics with development, systems engineering, testing, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring consistent implementation of diagnostic functions across relevant ECUs and vehicle systems
- Review and approval of diagnostic specifications and technical concepts
- Analysis and clarification of technical issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Support of integration, testing, validation, and release activities
What you bring along:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
- Professional experience in Automotive Diagnostics, Systems Engineering, or Function Ownership
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and ECU communication
- Good understanding of UDS and relevant diagnostic standards
- Experience in automotive E/E and software development projects
- Experience with requirements and issue management tools such as DOORS, Jira, Polarion, or comparable tools
- Strong analytical and structured working style
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Very good English skills; German is an advantage
- Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, DoCAN, and DoIP
- Experience with diagnostic tools and databases
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
- Understanding of E/E architectures and ECU networks
