What to expect:
We are seeking a talented Testing Engineer with proficiency in German to join our dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Develop and specify test procedures for battery management systems for high-voltage batteries within the eMobility Innovation unit.
- Understand and apply relevant norms and standards, such as ISO 26262 and LV124.
- Create new test specifications or adapt existing ones, deriving specific test cases based on customer requirements.
- Maintain and release test specifications along with associated modules, including parameter and report modules.
- Evaluate customer requirements and ensure alignment with test specifications.
- Coordinate closely with software developers and requirements managers to ensure cohesive project development.
- Lead evaluation rounds with various specialist departments, ensuring thorough and collaborative assessments.
- Manage testing processes, including measurement data analysis, error tracking, planning, monitoring, and control.
What you bring along:
- University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics or similar.
- Several years of experience in e-traction, battery management, or high-voltage systems.
- Extensive knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS and Vector CANoe / vSignalyser.
- ISTQB certification (Certified Tester) is an advantage.
- Team-oriented with a structured approach to work and strong communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of German and English.
