Bertrandt is an international engineering and technology partner supporting leading customers in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. We are looking for an Automotive Software Integration Engineer to join our team and support software integration, diagnostics, and testing activities for advanced vehicle systems.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot vehicle software integration issues and DTCs;

• Investigate logs, diagnostic reports, and CAN traces to identify root causes;

• Create and manage defect tickets and track issue resolution;

• Support testing, re-testing, and troubleshooting activities;

• Develop scripts and tools to automate analysis and reporting;

• Create KPIs, reports, and technical documentation;

• Collaborate with testers, developers, and integration stakeholders;

Qualifications:

• Degree in Automotive, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or similar.

• Experience in automotive software integration, diagnostics, testing, or validation.

• Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and ECU behavior.

• Experience with CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.

• Knowledge of Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape) and ETAS tools (INCA, MDA).

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence.

• Python and Git knowledge is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent English.

yearly gross salary: 30.000€ - 40.000€

The final compensation package will be defined according to experience, competencies and overall fit with the role.
