Role Description
We are looking for a RAMS / Diagnostic Engineer to join an engineering team working on the development and validation of diagnostic capabilities for complex radar systems in the defense domain.
The candidate will contribute to the definition, implementation and verification of system diagnostic functions, with a strong focus on reliability analysis, failure management and system-level diagnostics.
The role is highly cross-functional and requires interaction with system, hardware and software teams to ensure robust diagnostic design and effective mitigation of system failures.
Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of system diagnostics and Built-In Test (BIT) capabilities for radar systems;

Define and manage FMECA analyses, ensuring their integration into the diagnostic design process;

Support failure identification, analysis and mitigation strategies;

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define diagnostic requirements and telemetry aimed at minimizing system failures;

Perform Verification & Validation (V&V) activities related to diagnostic functions;

Analyze telemetry data, logs and system outputs to identify anomalies and validate diagnostic performance;

Support system integration and testing activities, ensuring alignment with reliability and diagnostic requirements;
Required Skills

at least 3 years of experience in RAMS / Reliability / System Engineering within defense, aerospace or mission-critical systems;

Strong experience with FMECA analysis and its application to system design;

Good knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink for data analysis and system evaluation;

Experience in failure analysis, fault detection and system diagnostics;

Experience working with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS);

Knowledge of IEC 61508 or other functional safety standards;

Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments;

Good command of English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have

Familiarity with CAMEO / MBSE tools;

Experience in radar systems, electronic warfare or advanced sensor systems;
Education
MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering or related field
