What to expect:
- Monitor and support the wiring harness production process on a daily basis.
- Assess and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide hands-on technical support and advice to the production team.
- Evaluate and optimize processes such as:
- Crimping
- Ultrasonic welding
- Cable wrapping and taping
- Wiring harness board assembly
- Connector and terminal assembly
- Manual and semi-automated assembly processes
- Identify production issues, analyze root causes and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet defined quality and technical requirements.
- Support process optimization, standardization and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise during production ramp-up and process changes.
What you bring along:
- Several years of hands-on experience in wiring harness manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of wiring harness production processes.
- Practical experience with crimping, ultrasonic welding, wrapping/taping and harness board assembly.
- Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction equipment or other off-highway applications is an advantage.
- Ability to assess production processes directly on the shop floor.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide practical recommendations to production teams.
