What to expect:
- Research comparable containerized reverse-osmosis plants, available equipment, manufacturer solutions, and typical design parameters
- Derive preliminary equipment sizes, flow requirements, pressure levels, and space claims from documented research and engineering estimates
- Develop the preliminary equipment list, container layout, piping concept, and integrated 3D CAD model
- Develop the piping, support, drainage, ventilation, installation, and maintenance concept
- Consider service clearances, membrane replacement, filter change, corrosion protection, access, and transport
- Coordinate equipment interfaces with the research-based process concept, instrumentation, maintenance, and external connections
- Prepare the mechanical and plant-engineering backlog for detailed design
What you bring along:
- Suitable degree programs: Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Development, or a comparable program.
- Initial CAD experience, ideally including 3D layouts
- Fundamentals of mechanical design, fluid systems, piping, or plant engineering
- Practical understanding of equipment packaging, assembly, access, and maintenance
- Ability to conduct structured technical research, perform engineering estimates, and compare design alternatives
- Interest in containerised plants and multidisciplinary construction
