What to expect:

For the allocated suppliers from the group, you will be in charge with:

• Oversee a portfolio of components and services
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes
• Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
• Prepare reports and updates as and when required
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
• Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
• Conduct research for new suppliers
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
• Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
• Keep attention to detail and accuracy.

What you bring along:

• Ideally Bachelor/Master’s degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong technical background or understanding
• 3+ years of purchasing experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively within teams
• Proficiency in SAP MM (Material Management)
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Proficient negotiation skills
• Advanced/Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Problem-solving with a hands-on approach
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Capacity to listen and communicate solutions at all levels.
