EMC Simulation Expert

What to expect:

  • Develop and validate EMC simulation models for complex automotive ECUs
  • Utilize full-wave electromagnetic solvers (e.g., Ansys HFSS, EMC Plus, SIwave) for accurate electromagnetic analysis
  • Perform nonlinear circuit co-simulation at SPICE level for system-level EMI prediction
  • Extract and model PCB power distribution networks (PDN) for EMC assessment
  • Build and simulate multiconductor models for automotive cable harnesses
  • Independently manage complete EMC modeling scope, including enclosure shielding and structural effects
  • Analyze and incorporate thermal-EMC coupling effects into simulation workflows
  • Investigate and mitigate high-speed interface noise impacting EMC performance
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of EMC simulation activities, from model setup to validation against physical test data
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations for EMC compliance optimization in automotive designs.

 

What you bring along:

  • Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field.
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles, particularly automotive standards such as CISPR 25
  • Ability to understand and interpret electronic schematics and PCB layouts
  • Expertise in PCB power distribution network (PDN) extraction and modeling
  • Ability to correlate simulation results with laboratory EMC measurements
  • Capability to independently manage end-to-end EMC modeling and simulation activities
  • Good communication skills in English.
