What to expect:
- Test Execution & Validation
- Perform smoke/acceptance tests, automated complete vehicle tests, manual vehicle tests, and simulation tests according to defined specifications.
- Load and manage test series in HP-ALM and JIRA.
- Conduct breadboard testing and post-tests for identified anomalies.
- Test Case Development
- Create and maintain test case specifications and scripts using HP-UFT.
- Update and verify automated test cases for accuracy and compliance.
- Analysis & Documentation
- Investigate errors through trace and log analysis.
- Document test results, anomalies, and provide detailed reports including screenshots and logs.
- Vehicle & Simulation Management
- Schedule and manage test vehicles via VDSeasy.
- Create and adapt vehicle simulations using SimSim and SimFrog.
- Support & Collaboration
- Assist with support cases, participate in defect rounds and release meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and software quality.
What you bring along:
- Languages: German mandatory and English.
- Education: Degree in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (mandatory).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Experience with tools: HP-ALM, HP-UFT, JIRA, CANoe, CAPL, ODIS-E/S, SYSTEM42, TEST42.
- Programming skills in C#, .NET, VBScript.
- Additional Requirements:
- High-voltage awareness for electric vehicles.
- Familiarity with VW development and commercial diagnostic testers.
- Understanding of ECU communication frameworks and diagnostic interfaces (MCD-3, D-PDU API).
- Soft Skills
