What to expect:
- Perform cybersecurity testing and validation for automotive ECUs and embedded systems.
- Execute security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing activities to identify potential security risks.
- Apply the requirements of ISO/SAE 21434 throughout the cybersecurity validation process.
- Validate security features such as authentication, encryption, secure boot, and secure communication mechanisms.
- Analyze and troubleshoot automotive communication using CAN, Ethernet, and UDS protocols.
- Investigate diagnostic communication by analyzing diagnostic services, requests/responses, and diagnostic message flows.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve cybersecurity issues.
- Support compliance with automotive cybersecurity requirements and contribute to security documentation and reporting.
What you bring along:
- 2+ years of experience in automotive cybersecurity, embedded systems, or automotive software testing.
- Hands-on experience with ISO/SAE 21434 and automotive cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, or security validation.
- Good understanding of cryptography fundamentals, including encryption, authentication, hashing, and secure communication.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including MAC, IP, and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).
- Experience working with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and Automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, including diagnostic services, message debugging, and diagnostic frame analysis.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex security issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.
- Good English communication skills.
